Jerry
Darlak and Mike Kurdziel formed this band 7 years ago.
Over
the years, they have toured the USA from Las Vegas & Arizona
to New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois,
and everywhere in between!
Their
performance, entertainment, and talent is just AWESOME!
This
3rd release, Let The Good Times Roll, speaks for itself. As you
listen to each cut, there is a variety of music styles (push Honky
with an edge), stories via some well-designed lyrics, and tunes
that reflect places where the Touch has performed over the years!
The
talented band members include: Jerry Darlak (IPA Hall of Famer,
and World Concertina H.O.F.) , who was originally from Chicago,
played many years with the late Marion Lush and the ever popular
Eddie Blazoncyk. Jerry, a superb entertainer --singer -- and master
concertina player -- is a 12 year resident of the town of Cheektowaga
(near Buffalo, NY). Ken Machelski is a featured vocalist, MC,
trumpet, trombone, and accordianist (12 bass). Ray Barsukiewicz,
a writer who has written numerous lyrics and songs recorded by
the Touch, is a vocalist, trumpet, sax and carinet player. Tom
Miniszewski is vocalist, sax and clarinet player. Mike Kurdziel
--the backbone beat -is drummer and manager. Mike Nowakowski --the
producer --(president of Sunshine Records) is a vocalist, accordianist,
and accomplished piano player. Tadj - is Bass guitarist, vocalist,
song writer, and promotions manager. Steve Michaels is a vocalist,
lead guitarist and plays the piano. Norm Wilson --savior and friend--
is "road manager and transportation specialist" along
with the "road crew". Tadj's artistic talent has created
a wonderful cover design for this CD and is the background for
this Page.
The
Buffalo Touch Band prides itself on their ability to entertain
and guarantees that you will want to dance, laugh, sing and have
a party with each of their live performances!
